Dooji dooee tang kare na je rab da vishvas rahe;
Ese de hath saunpe jindrhi ese di hi aas rahe. Hari da roop samajh ke sabh nun har ik de naal pyar kare; Sohni kojhi har ik shai chaun hari da hi deedar kare. Jis de sir te hath mahi da ki usda sansaar kare; Maare raakhe hath saaeen de jo chahe nirankar kare. Jad tak banda ban jigyasu sharan guru di aanda nahin; Kahe avtar dilan de vichchon bhav doosra janda nahin. |

If one has an abiding faith in God, duality does not trouble him:
He entrusts his life to God, and he relies only on Him. Taking everybody as the image of God, he loves one and all; He beholds God in every object, whether it is beautiful or an ugly one. None in the world can harm that person, who has the protection of God; Whether he lives or dies, it is the will of the Formless God. Unless man becomes a seeker and seeks the shelter of the True Master; Avtar says, the sense of duality does not vanish from the heart. |
Meaning
To feel complete happiness, one should surrender to the True Master. If one has a stable faith in God, duality or confusions do not trouble him. He entrusts his life to God, and he relies only on Him. Taking everybody as the image of God, he loves one and all. He beholds God in every object, whether it is beautiful or an ugly one. No one in the world can harm that person, who has the protection of God. Whether he lives or dies, it is the will of the Formless God. Baba Avtar Singh ji says, unless man becomes a seeker and seeks the shelter of the True Master, the sense of duality does not vanish from the heart.
